Mushroom Cultivation Workshop
The Department of Botany, Government College for Women (Autonomous), Srikakulam, in collaboration with PM-Usha, organized a Mushroom Cultivation Workshop from 27th August to 16th September. The workshop provided students with hands-on training in various stages of mushroom cultivation, including soaking, drying, substrate preparation, bagging and other cultivation practices, under the expert guidance of the resource person Sri P. Syam Kumar.
The students actively participated in the practical sessions and successfully acquired valuable skills in mushroom cultivation. The workshop aimed to promote skill development, self-employment and entrepreneurship among students.
